You can hire a car in Sydney or closer to the venue in Orange, most cities will have hire car options.
This gives you the most flexibility across the weekend, The drive through the Blue Mountains and Central West tablelands is genuinely worth it.

NSW TrainLink runs services from Sydney through to Bathurst and Orange. From Orange, you'd need a hire car or local transfer to reach the property—it's around 40 minutes from the town centre.

FYI — Driving in Australia
-
We drive on the left-hand side of the road, the same as Ireland and the UK.
-
Slow down at dusk—kangaroos and other wildlife are most active around dawn and dusk, and country roads can be unpredictable.
-
Don't rush the last stretch. Open road speed limits can reach 100 km/h, but conditions vary—use your judgment and take your time.
